XYX Tubular Demister

  • Detail
  • Parameters

Tubular demisters typically consist of two layers of circular tubes arranged in a triangular shape, placed horizontally inside the absorption tower. They are suitable for conditions with uneven airflow and a high concentration of large droplets and particulate matter. They are generally used in conjunction with ridge-type or flat-plate demisters.

Main Functions:

Removes large droplets (reducing the burden on downstream demisters);

Removes droplets larger than 400-500µm with significant effect;

Reduces the risk of demister clogging;

Prevents most of the slurry carrying gypsum solids from directly entering the demister (once these gypsum solids adhere to the demister plates, they are difficult to wash off, leading to reduced demister performance); The flue gas is evenly distributed, and the flue gas flow field within the tower exhibits significant non-uniformity.
